1. Overview
FakeComment ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the current version of our website handles data.
2. Mockup Generators
Our comment and chat mockup generators run in your browser. We do not:
- Upload, store, or process your images on our server for mockup export
- Store the text you enter in our screenshot generators
- Store profile pictures or generated mockups from those tools
Image generation and download for those tools happens locally on your device. Your mockup content does not pass through an application backend that we control for storage.
3. AI Fake Comment Writer
When you use the AI Fake Comment Writer, your topic and generation settings are sent to our AI provider once so we can return a batch of comments. We do not keep a permanent archive of your topics or generated comments for that feature. Rate limits may use a temporary identifier such as IP address to enforce the daily free quota.
4. Optional Accounts
Accounts are optional. Most tools work without signing in. If you create an account, we store the account details you provide (such as email and profile information) so you can sign in again, manage settings, and use account-related features.
5. Contact Forms
If you submit the contact form on this site, your message is delivered to our support inbox so we can reply. Do not include sensitive personal information you would not want sent by email.
6. Payments
Paid plans may be offered later through Stripe (or another payment provider we name here when enabled). Payment providers process card details on their systems; we do not store full payment card numbers on FakeComment servers.
7. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic trends and page usage. We do not use analytics to store comment text, uploaded images, or generated exports.
8. Advertising
We do not currently run Google AdSense or any other ad network on this site. If advertising is added later, this policy will be updated before those scripts are enabled.
9. Third-Party Services
The current site may rely on:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, CDN delivery, and edge execution
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly traffic analytics
- AI providers — for the Fake Comment Writer text generation feature
- Stripe — if and when paid plans are enabled
- Email delivery providers — for contact and transactional mail
10. GDPR and CCPA
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have rights regarding personal information we hold about an account or support request. We do not sell personal information. For mockup tools that never leave your browser, access and deletion requests usually do not apply to generator inputs because we do not store them.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and changing the "Last updated" date.
